Review: L'oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in Raisin Rapture

Today, I come to you with another L'oreal product review and this time we are talking about the Colour Riche lipsticks, particularly the shade Raisin Rapture.

 

Raisin Rapture can be described as a plum burgundy and is a perfect color for the fall. I went to Target specifically looking for a dark, wine-colored lipstick but decided on this lighter colored lipstick because I'm not too sure I can pull off a darker shade. Pigmentation is average as well as staying power. Nothing spectacular but not too shabby. I believe I paid $5.99 and you can find this and other shades at any drugstore!

Review: L'oreal Infallible 24-Hour Eyeshadow in Bottomless Java

Hey guys, I hope you all are having a great weekend! Today I come to you with a review on an eyeshadow I have been loving lately. It is a L'oreal Infallible 24-Hour eyeshadow and the particular one I am going to talk about is in the shade Bottomless Java.

Bottomless Java can be described as a dark brown with an amber colored shimmer. I have used this color twice this week and it works perfectly as a crease color as it is very easy to blend. I find myself using Urban Decay's Half Baked on my lid and then taking this color to my crease. This color is pretty dark and looks a bit lighter in the container than it is on the skin.

Here is a swatch with about two swipes of product. It is very pigmented and I am very excited to try out other colors! I picked this up from Target for around seven dollars and they can be found at just about any drugstore for around the same price.

Can you tell I love matte nails? This NYC matte top coat was under two dollars and works AMAZING! I highly recommend it if you are in the market for a matte top coat and don't feel like shelling out $8.00 or more for Essie's or Sephora's. 'Matte Me Crazy' has amazing quality.

Make Up Forever's Lipstick in Satin Black

Hello everybody, today I come to you with a little bit of a different post...and that is, black lipstick. I'm sure many if not all of you do not own or have never even tried on a black lipstick. Well, I had been eying this specific lipstick from Make Up Forever for quite some time now and was reluctant at first because how in the world could I justify buying black lipstick? In the end, I purchased it at a Sephora in JCPenny for $10.00. You may be wondering how I scored it for such a cheap price and that is because I had a $10.00 JCPenney giftcard and I was allowed to redeem it in the Sephora inside the store! Score! So the original price is $19.00 and I ended up paying just under $10.00 including tax. 

Now I am sure all of you are anxious to see what in the world I look like with black lipstick and I was pretty nervous too at first. I have to admit that I looked like a mess when I first tried to apply it. Let's just say, you have to take your time when applying this. The pigment is amazing but can easily look like a mess if not applied carefully. So, I put on some really thick eyeliner, glued on some false eyelashes and at last applied this bad boy.

Finally, the finished product.....

Not too bad, eh? Of course, it's not something I could pull off on an everyday basis but who knows...maybe I can find a way to incorporate it into some of my more 'grungy' outfits. What do you guys think?
